Garden party held today...

As mentioned previously, last night ended in us receiving an invite to attend a private party before the main ceremony today. We were made to feel very welcome, being offered bier at 10.15 am...

As you will see, the group were dressed in period costumes - which must have been hell given the heat!


When we were invited, we were told that the owner of the Pyraser brewery might be present. She was, and was most surprised to hear that we were able to drink her bier in Glasgow! She also loved the Hector t-shirts, and was really pleased with the Pyraser logo on them (I had been a bit worried in case she started claiming copyright...)


And just because T has been good at commenting (unlike anyone else reading this!)...

    Thank you Jonathan! That's cheered me up big time!
    I must admit i was a bit worried about the Pyraser logo on the shirts as well, in case someone from Pyraser went 'wait a wee fuckin minnit!', but looks like it was all okay!

    T - I know there are others out there!

    Kari - it may have been a small glass, but it was (1) free and (2) constantly refilled!
